Brian,
There is one more in the NIV: ?that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.? (Philippians 2:10, NIV)
The New American Standard Bible has two more:
?You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.? (Exodus 20:4, NASB)
?You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.? (Deuteronomy 5:8, NASB)
I personally believe that ?under the earth? is figurative language and not to be taken literally. I believe that Hell is a place of eternal torment. Earth is not eternal - ?But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, ....? (2 Peter 3:10-11, NIV)
Sooooooooooo, I do not know where Hell specifically is, but I believe that it is not in the physical space, time, continuum, but somewhere in the spiritual (4th dimension) realm.

I think it's important to remember that the Bible, and the Bible alone, is the inspired Word of God and that it is the standard by which all else is measured.

I just looked at the weather forecast. I think maybe you are talking about the neighborhood of Phoenix. At least someone used a simile about hell, heat and Phoenix.
Happy Independence Day
